Soralithir Isanthradil
This druid of the Moon Circle, named Soralithir of the House Isanthradil, when in the company of those who find it difficult to manage the Elvish syllables, she goes by Sora.
Once a denizen of Oym Edhil, the peaceful kingdom of the wood elves deep in the eastern forests, Sora and her kin lived in harmony with nature, accepting any into their city who respected the ancient elemental balance. That is, until the vicious orcs of the Bloodstone tribe shattered Oym Edhil's defenses and claimed the territory as their own.
A refugee, Sora and her longtime human friend Tormund, now a paladin in the service of Silvanus, settled in Lower Benneth. Only when their skills were called upon in the fight against Orcus did they learn of Oym Edhil's other refugees, and hope of reclaiming their homeland was kindled.
Sora is short-spoken and blunt, preferring honesty and brevity to make her point. Her disdain for the young races is clear, but Tormund and others have earned her respect, and she is fiercely protective of "her" pack. The only rule she acknowledges is the eternal balance of nature, which is neither good nor evil, but will bow to kings and leaders as the alphas of their own packs. Although she abhors anything disconnected from nature, such as undead and outsiders, she understands that desperate times call for strange alliances.

Tormund
His first decade was spent in the Orc-tainted forests around Oym Edil completely alone but for monsters and other horrors. He flourished there and at the end of this decade, he encountered elves for the first time: a band of scouts belonging to the group called "The Order." Considering how impossible it is to encounter a healthy young human child in the wilderness of a death-world, they believed the child to be a monster, and prepared to kill him.
A young Elf named Sora, prevented the fellow scouts from attacking and brought the child back to Oym Edil.
Tormund spent his teenage years learning the importance of the natural world, and developed a natural affinity for the ways of the forest.
As he grew into an adult, and began to devote himself towards the protection of the natural realm. He started having visions of some unseen future destrutction. The visions became more and more vivid, and eventually in a particularly horrible episode, Silvanius appeared to him and called for his Oath to protect the realm from the upcoming disaster.
Several years into his training under Silvanius' oath and absent observation, was when Oym Edil was viciously attacked by an army of Orcs. Those close to Tormund, the few he had trusted with stories of his visions, believed this to be the prophesied destruction. Tormund however, was never completely convinced, and remains vigilant to uphold his sworn oath to this day.

Dae Moon: A Half-Elf Sage
Born the bastard son of Elven Nobility, Dae bore the yoke of scorn that comes from being of impure blood. His human mother, Fendra Moon, was driven from the realm in shame as Dae was raised within the walls of the Neal Serin Castle. The high walls meant protection from danger, the horrors of war and poverty but Dae felt they also kept the realities of the world at bay.
As Dae bordered on manhood, in human standards, he felt isolated from his peers as they continued to doddle in relative infancy. Being never truly loved by his Noble family he packed up his things and left the Elven stronghold to strike out and find his mother, if she was still alive. He did so in broad daylight as slinking away in the dark would forever mark him a coward as well as a traitor to his race…even though he was never given the acceptance of the Elven community in which he lived.
He expected the look his father’s wife gave him as he left through the front gate. It was cold, scornful and awash with relief. What made him pause was the glint in his Elven father’s eye. It spoke a deep regret that Dae did not know existed, or was even possible. He couldn’t discern the true meaning or source of the regret but it didn’t matter. It was the fuel he needed to turn his back on luxury, safety, and peace and take that first step towards the mystery ahead of him.
He thought finding his mother was his life’s great mission. He was young, and while not stupid, his ignorance was as immense as the shining castle he left behind.
The greatest surprise for Dae was how quickly he found his mother. It was only the third town he’d come across on the road that lead away from his Kingdom. He simply asked after her at the local tavern and with the requisite disdain the barkeep lazily pointed out the window, across the street to the town hall. It was at the hall that Dae found his mother, knee deep in records. He waited for a moment and seemingly as if she felt his presence she looked up and beamed at the sight of him.
Dae and his mother caught up as best they could as quickly as they could. Talks, meals, cries, they spent their time well together. Fendra felt the curiousity and unbounded energy bubbling beneath the Elven veneer of her newly found son, so she nurtured it. Against the apprehensions of her superiors she got him a night clerk position at the library. It was here that Dae blossomed.
Thousands of books and years later, it was a chance encounter with an ancient tome that would make Dae who he is today. If you asked him what happened he can’t quite articulate it. He can’t remember it. But he can feel it. He’ll say he spent time across the astral plane. He’ll tell you ridiculous tales of falling in love with…her? It? Them? He’ll say the connection he made when he wasn’t in this world gave him the wild magic coursing through his veins and you’ll be skeptical until you look him in the eye when he says that he’ll go back to that place again. When he says that the realm that kissed him with magic is the most wondrous and dangerous place in existence. When he says he will do anything—anything—to discover the source of his power. When he says that, “Sometimes to understand beauty it needs to be destroyed”, you will see the conviction in his eyes and know that this is the truth of things. That perhaps it wasn’t curiousity that drove him, but a passion unlike any other.
Humbert Humbert
Humbert Humbert is a previous Noble (known as Lord Humbert Humbert), that escaped his aristocratic family for the quest of knowledge. During his days as nobiltiy he spent hours in his family's library, reading and researching everything and anything under the sun.
Therein, he found a book that holds terrile secrets. He's never gone without it, and he's never shared the details of its content with anyone.
Most notably, Humbert found that his mother, Zoya Humbert, used to belong to an all-female clan called the necrodames who would routinely summon the undead. At first, the necrodames group was created for revenge on men who raped and violently beat their wifes. These group of women, would summon the undead to frighten, and often kill the men invovled in these unrelenting acts of violence. Zoya's father, Humbert's grandfather, Dalir, was one of their victims. One of the most famous and acclaimed noblemen in the town, no one ever found out what became of Dalir (except humbert humbert). If anyone were to find out that Zoya killed her own father, they would savagely kill her and set her body ablaze. Humbert thus ran away from home, in order to protect his mother.
Also important, Humbert suspects that the necrodames are part of the groups that are trying to bring back Orcus. The group has lost touch with the orginal goals of the Necrodames, slowly becoming influenced by the evil in undead-raising work, which is further exacerbated by the radicalization of their own political alignments.
He is 43 years old, and he is gay. He fell in love with the House of Humbert bard, Krumbert, who taught him all that he knows about barding.
He is a sage, and his specialties are Alchemy and Librarian.
He is proficient in Arcana, and History.
He has the researcher feature, which means that when he recalls a piece of lore, even if he does not know the information I know where to get it (usually @ a library, scriptorium, university, or another sage)
He speaks Common, Elvish, Abyssal, and Orc
Personality Traits:
Humbert Humbert is like to appear smart, he likes to boast about his knowledge in every situation. He is always talking about the books that he read and the libraries that he’s frequented.
